Introduction

RL6:Mobile allows RL clients to report events and patient comments on the go, directly integrated with RL6. Users can submit text, audio and images to describe the event or feedback straight from their mobile devices. This helps reduce the time spent entering data and give the users the flexibility to report information from the point of care.

Logging into RL6:Mobile

  1. Select an Application Account Type. This is set up by your organization. Contact your IT team if you are unsure.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Tap the Login button.

Submitting an Event

  1. Tap Submit a New Event.
  2. Complete any of the following tabs for submission:
    • Write Me
    1. Event Description (required)
    2. Site at which the incident occurred
    3. Name (This is automatically populated and cannot be changed.)
    4. Telephone Number
    5. Email
    6. Preferred method of contact: Email or Phone
    • Tell Me (up to 10 recordings)
    1. Tap the Record button to start recording an audio file.
    2. Tap Stop when complete.
      The recording appears in the My Audio Notes list.
    3. To delete a file from the list, tap Edit and tap the Delete icon. Press Done.
    4. To sort the recordings, drag and drop the files in the list.
      Show Me (up to 4 photos)
    1. Tap Show Me.
    2. Tap Add Photo.
    3. Select Take Photo to capture a new photo with your device or Choose From Library to upload an existing photo.
  3. Tap Submit.

Submitting Feedback

  1. Tap Submit Feedback.
  2. Complete the following tabs for submission:
    • Write Me
    1. Issue Description (required)
    2. Site to which the feedback involves
    3. Name (This is automatically populated and cannot be changed.)
    4. Telephone Number
    5. Email
    6. Preferred method of contact: Email or Phone
    • Tell Me (up to 10 recordings)
    1. Tap the Record button to start recording an audio file.
    2. Tap Stop when complete.
      The recording appears in the My Audio Notes list.

    4. To sort the recordings, drag and drop the files in the list.

Viewing Submitted Files

You can view the status of all events/feedback that you previously submitted via the mobile application within the last 30 days.

  1. Tap View Submitted Files.
    A list displays File ID numbers, Date Submitted and the File State.
  2. To view more information, tap the arrow icon to launch the Mobile Summary feature in Safari.

FAQs

Can I delete a previous submission?

No. Files cannot be modified nor deleted in RL6:Mobile once they have been submitted to the server.

What happens to my file if I lose my network connection?

If you are in the middle of completing a submission or in the process of submitting and you lose connection, the information remains on the device memory and you can continue when the device rejoins the network. Note: If the device is shut off or the RL6:Mobile application is forced closed, all data will be erased and unavailable upon login.

Can I save my entry to complete the submission later?

No. Currently, entries cannot be saved as incomplete. They must be submitted or discarded.

I'm getting a Server Certificate Error message. What does this mean?

RL6:Mobile checks for a valid certificate upon configuration, and if there any errors (such as expired certificates), a message displays. Some hospitals use self-signed certifications so this message may be common and not a concern.
